WebYou get the benefits of camber and rocker together while mitigating the cons of both. When you are carving it is surfy but when you are fully on your heels or toes (like on ice etc.) you actually get more edge contact. Even my park board that I've detuned is a great ice board. WebPicked up snowboarding 8 years ago, bought my first board 6 years ago, then went down the rabbit hole 5 years ago, which culminated in a move to Tahoe. Like many other gear-oriented sports, I love that snowboards have so much variety, and have enjoyed exploring camber profiles, shape, size, materials, and construction.
