Webb9 mars 2024 · By default, the green parts will be set to 0.07 mm gradually smoothing to the main selected layer height, in our case 0.2 mm. The smoothing is very important and is not present in any other FFF slicing software. Without it, the layer height jump is very visible and defeats the effect of smoother surfaces. WebbVariable layer height smoothed out the wheels, but caused a bunch of random little issues on the roof/vertical structures. Temp was probably too high lol. WebbYou can try to use the variable layer height tool in Prusaslicer but I don't see how you can get precise changes or linear gradients that way. I can enter 0.3mm manually and according to slicer calculation prints usually are faster, accordingly (depends on the actual print, as always).
