Web14 jul. 2024 · When the oil is cold (over night) the clutch pack sticks together and it makes the clutch drag. Once warmed up this is not so apparent anymore. If bike is in gear and you just pull the clutch and try to push it around the garage with the engine off and cold, you will find is really hard. But as soon as you put it in neutral it becomes a lot easier. Web2 jun. 2012 · The clucth on my 2011 350 sxf is dragging, it will stall when you 1st put it in gear unless you give it some revs, also it is very hard to select neutral because of it, the bike has done about 10 hrs and the clutch plates and basket is still like new. You might need to bleed the system to get rid of any air if the fluid went too low. If you have a manual clutch you need to adjust the linkage at the clutch handle. If it isn’t it’ll cause drag and you need to adjust your bolts on the ring to 1,2 or 3 positions and it’s numbered right on the ring. The only way you can ever get neutral is after it's stalled (from thinking you were in neutral and letting the clutch out). You just cannot select it with the engine running, ever. Once fully extended, release the wedges and observe how they retract. The wedges should return smoothly to their original position.
