WebJan 13, 2024 · Fathom 25N for sure on that rod. Accurates are nice but pricey and penns are much easier to service. A tern xn is for vertical jigging ideally. If you’re throwing irons at all that spool won’t work nearly as well as a 25n in creating action for your jig. A fathom 25n is probably the most diverse reel on the market right now. If you want something that gives you a bang for the buck, Fathom does an amazing job and gives you the bells and whistles of $300+ reels internally and can get the job done in many different scenarios

WebFeb 16, 2024 · This is what I wanted to hear, I felt a friend of a friend's blue printed Fathom by Cal Sheets a few days ago and I'm still obsessed about it today. It felt better than a stock Torque at a much lower price point. Been doing hours of research on it for a couple of days now. I think I need a 15XNLD2 and a 25NLD2 very soon.
